About this property

Plum Pudding is a traditionally styled bell tent that is purposefully designed to give you the ambience you would typically experience whilst staying in a customary country cottage but with a glamping twist. This bell tent includes a double bed and sofa bed to sleep up to four people, as well as a dining table that can host the tent’s capacity. There are solar lighting and fairy lights, along with electric charging points for mobiles and electronic devices and 3 pin sockets for low wattage devices. There is a single gas hob, a fridge, and a fire pit (wood can be purchased, or bring your own (must be kiln-dried and smokeless as the site is in a nature reserve). Private ensuite "wash shed" with flushing toilets new for 2025 with hot shower and sink. No pets.. Set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, this charming, holiday glamping park, that has been awarded Best Luxury Countryside Glamping Site - East Anglia by European Travel Awards 2022, delivers the perfect setting for a delightful and relaxing glamping experience. Glamp @ The Priory is sat on the boarder of Norfolk and Suffolk, and is a stone’s throw away from the tourist hot spot of the Norfolk Broads. Five miles away you’ll find the market town of Beccles, and slightly further afield, 12 miles, the award-winning beaches of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth await.

The site is a working farm so you’ll be able to see the cows, pigs and horses roaming around the 850 acres of land, special mention goes out to the handsome herd of Highland cows you’ll be sure to come across during your stay.. Absolutely fantastic week spent in the gorgeous Plum Pudding bell tent with our own private bathroom right next door to us. There was a fire pit and barbecue and it was basically a home from home. We chose to Glamp as a back injury meant normal camp beds were a no no for me this year and we were not disappointed with a very comfortable double bed. It is a working farm so there were some animal noises but it was lovely to see the horses in the field next to us and the dawn chorus was amazing we spotted so many birds not so common where we live. The owner/manager Gavin, Mr Glamp could not have been more helpful and always around or on the phone if needed. Would definitely stay again if down this way and highly recommend it.
