During your stay in the Suffolk market town of Beccles, you’ll have a handful of shops, restaurants and cafes nearby (within 0.5 miles). The property sits next to the tranquil River Waveney so you can enjoy dog walks from your doorstep in The Broads national park (less than 0.5 miles). Make the most of the surrounding nature reserves – such as North Cove Nature Reserve (4.5 miles) and Carlton Marshes Suffolk Wildlife Trust (7.5 miles). Take your four-legged friends for a swim at Pakefeild Beach (8.5 miles) and explore the coastal town of Lowestoft (10 miles). You also won’t be far from the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – head to the dog-friendly Benacre National Nature Reserve (9.5 miles) for miles of picturesque coastline.

As a private observation we would like to say the cottage is superb but a couple of well meant observations (1) A blind is essential in the shower room (2) it needs cosying up a bit! (3) Kitchen/dining/drinking items a bit sparce
