A really lovely cottage with nice view out over the fields. Quiet & relaxing. The private fenced in garden was great for the dog. Not far from the coast. Lovely dog friendly beaches and pleasant walks nearby. Definitely recommend.

Lovely and peaceful position - not far from main amenities (once you get your bearings!) We were pleasantly surprised that there were fans in every room - these were so needed in the very hot weather we had. We could also get a lovely breeze by opening the front and back doors. . Considering it was pet friendly it was very clean (we're not dog owners and there was no sign of dog hair!). The cellar spiders kept us busy - but that is a seasonal issue. Good shower and supply of hot water. There was just enough cutlery, crockery and glasses for 4 people. Don't expect any small (left over) supplies of tea, coffee, sugar, salt and cooking oil as is in most holiday lets but I suppose that is for hygiene reasons. Lots of room for parking which is a big plus.

A nice place to stay let down by the poor state of the access road and creaking floors. The conservatory is a lovely place to have meals and sit, and the living room chairs are unusually comfortable. Unfortunately the only wildlife we saw were rabbits and pigeons. The nearby town of Halesworth ( 10 minute drive) is well worth a few visits - lovely cafes ( especially Rhubarb and Rose), and the Italian style restaurant attached to the Angel Hotel is excellent.
