Within easy driving distance of rspb Minsmere, Walberswick, Dunwich, Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings, Norfolk Broads. Golf, riding, tennis, sailing, swimming and fishing are all available locally. Xmas week stay!100% recommend stable end for your Xmas stay or any other stay. Host live next door and are very welcoming and generous. Going above and beyond for guests. Decorated tastefully for Christmas. Real tree, layed table with real centrepiece. Quality crackers, fruited/ spiced mulled wine on the range. A premium Christmas pudding and a pot of treats for the dog. Christmas really was made special. The stable will not disappoint if you like properties with character and charm. Spotlessly clean, well decorated, warm with underfloor heating and log burner. Tiled flooring downstairs and carpets upstairs. Bathroom downstairs and upstairs toilet. Linen, beds, towels all of the upmost quality premiums. M&S towels and John Lewis cotton sheets and duvet. Kitchen more then equipt for cooking and serving a full Christmas dinner. Including Le creuset baking trays. Like I said “ premium quality “ Travelled with 2 boys of 7 and 9 and they lived the games room attached in the adjoining stable. But the stable end cottage was more then equipt with family games. We enjoyed dominos, cards, checkers, scrabble but there was many more. Prob every game invented. The garden is well lit and is pea gravelled. ( I add this info in case your dog is as picky as mine and prefers grass)

Cottage was lovely and well equipped and the owners were helpful, comfy cottage with a lovely wood burner for when cold. The only thing was you can hear the people in the cottage next door if they are early risers but not terrible
