Situated in the ever popular town of Pakefield, near Lowestoft, Albion Cottage is a renovated, end terrace property, and is only 100 yards from a sandy beach, making it ideal for fishing. Its bright interior makes it a more than comfortable base to relax in following a day of sun, sea, sand and fun on the Suffolk Coast. There are many things to do in the surrounding area, including Africa Alive, which is a renowned nature reserve, Lowestoft, with its popular pier, and Pleasurewood Hills, the UK’s most easterly theme park. Further inland, you will find Oulton Broad, part of the Norfolk Broads National Park. From here, you can fish (licence required), hire a day boat or sit back and watch the passing pleasure craft. Southwold, Aldeburgh and Dunwich are all within easy reach by car. Beach 100 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

We loved our stay at Albion Cottage. It has a really homely feel. The lounge is a good size, and bigger than similar properties we have stayed in. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you could possibly need. I hadn't realised that there wasn't a dishwasher (completely my mistake), so make sure you pack a pair or rubber gloves. The beds were really comfortable, and the bedrooms had enough storage. Having two bathrooms was a real luxury, and they were both laid out well and spotlessly clean (as was the entire property). There was also plenty of hot water. The stairs are incredibly steep, with quite a narrow step. This is mentioned in the advert details, so please bear this in mind if travelling with those unsteady on their feet. It was not a problem for us. As the photos show, the garden is laid to shingle/pebbles. Our dog was not a fan of this, so a consideration if you have a princess pooch like us. The location is fabulous. You are literally a 5 minute walk to the beach and the Jolly Sailors public house which overlooks the sea and does great food. We highly recommend this property and will definitely rebook.

What a wonderful find this beautiful cottage gave the perfect peaceful holiday. The hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and there was also an unexpected welcome pack of treats for us to enjoy on arrival plus milk tea coffee sugar for the arrival cuppa. . Clean through out. Great bathing facilities of both bathroom and on suite shower off from master bedroom . Very comfortable king size bed . This offers a true home from home. We enjoyed the lig burner in lounge for a cosy evening in. Logs were provided for 1st day. But can be purchased at local spa shop or other local supermarkets . Close to a lovely pub restaurant and fish and chip bar and 10 minute walk to beach . 100% recommend this beautiful home from home 🏡 😍 ❤️

Nice property in a very good location. Very clean and reasonably well equipped. We weren't very impressed with the 'welcome pack', which consisted of a cheap bottle of wine and a small carton of milk; not a very warm welcome. Also, bearing in mind that we were there towards the end of October, no fuel was supplied for the wood burner. A minor point, but the lounge television isn't very good. Very dark picture, might be adjustment. We enjoyed our time there, but could have been better.
