There is a delightful pub at the end of the road where you can watch the beautiful Suffolk sunsets. The town itself offers a variety of shops, restaurants, and cultural attractions, ensuring there’s always something to see and do.
Head south to the famous Southwold, home to Adnams Brewery where you can have a tour and tasting session, an array of independent shops, the quintessential pier and the beach lined with brightly coloured beach huts. Aldeburgh is famous for its fish and chip shop so get there early as it is very popular! Suffolk has many historic properties to visit such as Somerleyton Hall and gardens. Head inland and you can explore the Norfolk Broads National Park, a unique wetland that can be discovered on foot, bike or by boat. This natural landscape is home to rare wildlife and is particularly popular with birdwatchers. Beach 500 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Very comfortable, clean and well designed property. Plenty of parking in the road. Very nice meals in the Jolly Sailor pub/restaurant at the end of the road, overlooking the sea. Good base to explore the coastal towns with Norwich a good city to visit.

Our recent June 6night stay was a perfect home from home, an extremely comfortable, relaxing atmosphere accommodation at Big Skies. Our welcome pack was amazing , and all holiday information provided , including local history of Pakefield/Lowestoft was fantastic.. Would definitely return and would recommend to anyone who was thinking of visiting this area... A truely lovely holiday cottage...

We had a lovely week in Big Skies, from 13th June to 20th June. The property is done to a high standard, spotlessly clean and has every thing you could wish for. It is close to the sea and a couple of very nice pubs within walking distance. The owner, Eleanor, goes out of her way to ensure everything is in tip top order and responds very quickly to any query you may have. The welcome pack and lots of extra luxuries was a very nice touch and much appreciated.There are many places to visit in and around the area. All in all a very lovely place to stay and we would highly recommend Big Skies.
