Outside, you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening drink on the decking area, soaking up the peaceful holiday park atmosphere.
As well as the indoor pool with toddler splash zone, for 2026 there is a new centre with children’s activities with live entertainment running during the school holidays. Enjoy the climbing wall, arcade and children’s play area. Plus, there’s a dog wash station and launderette on site too.
The real highlight of staying here is the wonderful location. Pakefield is a charming coastal village on the edge of Lowestoft, Britain’s most easterly town. Just a short stroll from the holiday park, you’ll find beautiful sandy beaches and dunes, perfect for traditional seaside days, dog walks, paddling, or simply relaxing with a good book. The area is known for its stunning sunrises over the North Sea well worth an early start. Nearby, The Seagull Theatre offers live music, comedy, and theatre in an intimate setting, while the Victorian seafront gardens and promenade at South Beach provide classic seaside charm. Families will love a day out at Pleasurewood Hills, a popular theme park with rides and attractions for all ages.
The traditional seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold with their independent shops and restaurants are a short drive away and you can catch a foot ferry from Southwold to Walberswick, famous for its crabbing. If you are into wildlife visit the area of natural beauty at Minsmere, with woodland, reedbeds, grassland, heathland and the wild coast to explore, you can easily spend a whole day at Minsmere. Enjoy family time pond dipping or den building in the woods. Visit the shop and enjoy delicious food on the café terrace immersed in the tranquillity of nature.
