Sapphire Cottage is located just a short walk from the sea and is perfect for families, couples and friends to enjoy a break. It was renovated in 2020 and has a spacious dining area for spending quality time together, and a well-equipped kitchen to prepare your favourite meal before snuggling up in the cosy living room with the roaring wood burner. This lovely three bedroom cottage is a great place to sit back and relax after a busy day out enjoying the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Located at the UK’s most easterly point, it’s perfect to see the sunrise in the morning.
Lowestoft is a favourite town for families with plenty to see and do. It has two piers, a wildlife park, award-winning theme park, museums, theatre and a beautiful beach with golden sands and beach huts, so don’t forget your bucket and spade! Just 4 miles away you’ll find Oulton Broad, the gateway to the Broads National Park, offering year-round watersports, day boat hire, cafés, riverside restaurants and bars. For great shopping and culture take a 50-minute drive to the city of Norwich, one of the UK’s top shopping destinations, with its stunning castle, museum, cathedral and an abundance of bars and restaurants. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sapphire Cottage and easy to give 5 stars. We needed a safe haven for a few days at a sad time & it was perfect. A 2 minute walk from the beach for family walks & sea glass hunting, time to reflect. The cottage has 3 bedrooms - 1st a double, 2nd with twin beds & 3rd had bunk with double bottom & a single on top. It has a cozy lounge with a wood burner (with some logs/kindling provided- though we did buy more from shops). Lovely kitchen & dining area. We have stayed in many cottages & must say this was probably the best equipped one. Tea/coffee/sugar and milk provided & a lovely welcome basket with treats in it. Bathroom is downstairs but even as a large group, this didn't pose as a problem. Good size and soft towels. Local shop nearby for supplies. Chip shop & pubs also just a short walk away. Also found out that my cousin had also stayed at Sapphire Cottage at Christmas & loved it as well. Great communication prior to arrival. Thank you to the owners for letting us spend time in their cottage and for making a difficult time memorable.

Great stay at a really nicely finished seaside retreat.....just 2 mins walk from the beach and good pubs and shops all within 2 mins walk.....would deffo return.
