Sapphire Cottage is located just a short walk from the sea and is perfect for families, couples and friends to enjoy a break. It was renovated in 2020 and has a spacious dining area for spending quality time together, and a well-equipped kitchen to prepare your favourite meal before snuggling up in the cosy living room with the roaring wood burner. This lovely three bedroom cottage is a great place to sit back and relax after a busy day out enjoying the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Located at the UK’s most easterly point, it’s perfect to see the sunrise in the morning.
Lowestoft is a favourite town for families with plenty to see and do. It has two piers, a wildlife park, award-winning theme park, museums, theatre and a beautiful beach with golden sands and beach huts, so don’t forget your bucket and spade! Just 4 miles away you’ll find Oulton Broad, the gateway to the Broads National Park, offering year-round watersports, day boat hire, cafés, riverside restaurants and bars. For great shopping and culture take a 50-minute drive to the city of Norwich, one of the UK’s top shopping destinations, with its stunning castle, museum, cathedral and an abundance of bars and restaurants. Beach ½ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Great stay at a really nicely finished seaside retreat.....just 2 mins walk from the beach and good pubs and shops all within 2 mins walk.....would deffo return.

Sapphire Cottage is a home away from home. We loved our stay there. The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The kitchen had every utensil, plate, cup, cutlery, pot and pans etc that you could need. The large fridge freezer was perfect for all of our Christmas food. The property was warm and cosy with lots of hot water. The beds were comfy, with the added bonus (for us) of having a tv in the two larger bedrooms. Lots or wardrobe and cupboard space for clothes. The stairs are very steep, so please keep this in mind if you have small children with you. The location is excellent, with the added bonus of off road parking for one car. A 5 minute walk from the house and you’re on the dog friendly beach (which we took advantage of each day of our stay). The fabulous Jolly Sailors pub is about a 10/15 minute walk from the property, along the coastal path. Great atmosphere, food and sea views. The only minor improvement we’d make would be to add coat hooks in the hallway. I highly recommend Sapphire Cottage and we will definitely book again.
