When we stripped the beds there were stains on the mattresses. Also the instructions for use of the appliances were quite difficult to follow. We had difficulty using the microwave oven positioned so high with hot food to lift out. A very well appointed and comfortable property to stay, in an ideal position although cooking any meal was a trial.

The ground floor rooms were of a size to be comfortable for six people, and the bonus to have three large bedrooms with ensuites was a big plus .

The steam room in the twin bedroom is looking a bit grotty. The kitchen is large and lots of cupboard space. A little bizarre with such a large kitchen that there isn't a built in freezer rather than a dinky one hid away in a cupboard. A large family stopping for a couple of weeks would struggle as our bag of ice nearly filled it. The whole house could do with freshening up as in carpets and a lick of paint. The outside space could be improved significantly. There is some seating but not very inviting out there. The large unused outbuilding at the bottom of the garden could be made amazing with various usage options. The property had not been cleaned great to be honest with bits of food on the floor in the main room and my partner had to clean the kitchen quite a bit including the fridge. The kitchen utensils are also ready for freshening up. All a bit of a mix up of mugs, glasses, plates etc. Could do with a trip to IKEA and just getting a full set of matching kitchen ware. Doesn't do the property justice. Poor selection of cooking utensils to be fair but about 3 toasters in the cupboards, so good if you're mad on toast. All in all the general feeling was that it was good but really could be great with a bit of thought and tlc.
