  This property was perfect for our spring break. Situated opposite the pier you were seconds from being on the beach and a 10 minute walk into town. This was good as the town centre is very busy so better to be on the out skirts. The property had a lovely courtyard garden enough space to dine outside and catch some sun and allow your dog outside. The property has been recently renovated and looks beautiful. Two bathrooms including one stunning walk in wet room with rainfall shower. The open plan of the living area meant your party can be together whether in the lounge, sitting at the dining table or preparing food in the well equipped kitchen. Suffolk Secrets are a brilliant company to book through, they facilitated my change of properties without incurring any fees, the place was spotlessly clean and welcome information was vast. I would definitely use them again, also the welcome goodie bag that was provided on arrival was perfect. Couldn’t fault this property at all. Also having a driveway in this busy place is good as you don’t have to worry about getting parked when you return from your day out.

  Perfect location- two minutes walk from the sea and the pier and only a little longer to the town and in a quiet cul-de-sac so no noise from traffic.It was our first stay in Southwold and we could not have chosen a more suitable property; on opening the front door, we were welcomed by a warm and immaculately clean house. The beds and sofas etc are very comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking as much - or as little - as you wish. The welcome basket was much appreciated. It was not warm enough to sit out, but it was pleasant to be able to sit in the living room or dining room and look at the garden and imagine being there in the summer. Were we to return to Southwold, we would not hesitate to choose Woodpeckers for our stay.

  We loved the property and the beautifully maintained garden. The position is excellent with a short flat walk to the sea front and pier. The bungalow is excellently maintained with lovely decor, furnishings and original paintings, Denby pottery and superb cooking utensils and hob and ovens. Beds are exceedlingly comfortable with lovely white fluffy bath sheets and an assortment of complementary shampoo and shower gels. The Welcome pack was one of the best and most unusual we’ve ever had.it contained a variety of unusual and local produce and drinks, including Adnams !

  Fantastic property in a prime location only a minutes from the beach and pier and a short walk to the shops. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area and good sized bedrooms. The large porch area is ideal for keeping coats, beach bags, pushchairs etc and the outdoor shower is perfect when returning from the beach...keeps most of the sand out of the house! Our dogs loved the private and fully enclosed garden, small but very safe and "escape-proof" with outside furniture too. Off road parking for one car is a bonus and there is lots of on-road parking too.

  Great location and lots of room, comfy furniture in the lounge, very clean and tidy. We found the double bed uncomfortable, could have done with some essentials in the kitchen, teabags, salt, oil etc just to get us by, or maybe pop in the description that there is nothing so people can bring or buy before they come in. We assumed there would be some basics as in previous lets we have stayed in over the years. Not much room in the bedrooms inbetween the beds could maybe be classed as singles instead of twins, (or bunkbeds). Thanks for a lovely few days
