Flat 1 Beach House in Southwold is praised for its immaculate condition, tasteful furnishings, and stunning panoramic sea views. Its proximity to shops, the pier, and the town centre is highly valued. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, comfort, and the newly added shower. While some minor maintenance issues and a lack of certain kitchen equipment are noted, the location and views consistently impress guests, making it a sought-after property for a beach holiday.
The property is generally described as very clean, with fresh bed linen and towels. However, a few guests noted cleanliness issues such as stained mattress protectors, grubby carpets, and dusty areas, slightly lowering the score.
The location is exceptional, with guests consistently praising the stunning sea views and proximity to local amenities. It is considered a highlight and a significant factor in the property's appeal.
The property is found to be very comfortable by most guests, with a welcoming atmosphere. However, some guests mentioned low furniture and hard beds, which could affect comfort for certain individuals.
Facilities are generally good, with positive mentions of basic equipment and a new shower. Criticisms include a lack of kitchen equipment, issues with the TV, and the need for maintenance in areas like the bathroom and kitchen tap.
There is no consistent mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, aside from a single reference to a pint of milk. Therefore, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness based on the reviews provided.
Location, location, location - if you're after a seafront location then this beachfront flat for four on Southwold promenade certainly ticks that box.
Location doesn’t get much better than this! Situated just set back from Southwold beach on East Cliff and looking down over the brightly coloured beach huts, this holiday accommodation benefits from unrivalled stunning sea views across the Southwold coastline and across to the pier.
The two good sized bedrooms, one with double bed and one with twin, provide the ideal set up for a special family break to this desirable coastal town. The master bedroom and lounge boast wall to wall windows which have uninterrupted sea views.
This beach front flat is separated from the beach only by a footpath which leads down to the beach. The accommodation is set over the ground floor with kitchen, living/dining room, 2 bedrooms and bathroom all on one level. The kitchen is a modern space, small but perfectly formed with everything you need for whipping up some home-cooked meals. The kitchen leads to a shared courtyard at the rear of the property; it’s quite the sun trap and is equipped with table and chairs. Perfectly equipped for families, you’re sure to make lasting memories here. Mrs Whitley
A delightful flat in with incredible views over the entire bay. Location wise it was perfect, being just a short walk to both the beach and the High Street. Having restricted mobility it was perfect for me as it was on one floor. We had a most enjoyable break there and look forward to going again in the not too distant future.

Stunning property
Mrs Worrall
The flat is right on East Cliff passage so everyone passing is very close to the window of the main room and most people tend to look in as they pass. The lovely bit is that you can sit at the table and watch the sea so it would spoil the view if there was a blind as in the bedroom. Is there anything that can be done so that tenants can see out but passers by can't see in?
