In the sweet kitchen everything has been provided to make the cook’s life easy, including a dishwasher for quick cleaning up and a coffee pod machine for that all-important morning wake-me-up. There’s a handy WC on this level, too, while upstairs the three bright bedrooms – two doubles and a single – share a family bathroom. For a morning coffee in the fresh air, drinks in the evening or a meal at any time, the terraced garden is a real sun-trap and features a gas BBQ for grilling the tasty delicacies you’ve picked up on your day’s adventures.
Wrentham boasts a choice of shops, including a bakery, deli and newsagents, as well as a dog-friendly pub serving real ale and food made with locally sourced produce. Discover one of Suffolk’s greatest secrets – the wild beach at Covehithe, 2 miles, which can only be reached on foot or by bike. For family days out, the conservation zoo Africa Alive is only 5 miles, while the bustling seaside resort of Southwold is 6.5 miles and definitely not to be missed.
