The stunning décor continues upstairs to the bedrooms; one room with a zip/link king-size bed, a day bed and a desk, should you be on a workcation, while the remaining two bedrooms host a king-size and a single, with Jack-and-Jill access to the bathroom where you can soak in the lovely freestanding bath after a day of walking. Outside, be sure to take advantage of the multi-level garden and dine alfresco in the sun. There is so much to do if you can bear to be away from this gorgeous property; Berrington Hall, and Croft Castle and Parkland are both within easy reach and ran by the National Trust, making for a relaxing day of strolling the magnificent grounds. Just a short car journey away is the Queenswood Country Park & Arboretum, perfect on foot or by bike; nature lovers will love the 47-acre tree collection with rare and exotic trees. The charming market town of Leominster can be travelled to easily and is home to plenty of pubs and restaurants so you can give the chef of the group a break. You'll find a wider variety of choice in Ludlow, sure to suit all tastes and budgets, along with a wealth of must-see sights and attractions, including the historical ruins of Ludlow Castle, Whitcliffe Common Nature Reserve, Ludlow Museum and a quaint farmers market. Brush up on the local culture with visits to the Hereford Cider Museum Trust and the Waterworks Museum, or perhaps exert your energy with a day out at the picture-perfect Mortimer Forest, ideal for the active members of your group to explore. The Chapel is a beautiful holiday home, perfect for a peaceful break, any time of year.

Yarpole is a thriving village in Herefordshire, halfway between Ludlow and Leominster. Yarpole has an award-winning village shop, a pub and a Post Office. Bircher Common, a lowland heath with scenic views rests a short walk from the village, along with the Monkland Cheese Dairy, a working dairy that produces local artisan cheeses, and has a well-stocked shop and cafe. The Priory Church, along with a variety of shops, cafes, antique centres, and pubs, make Leominster a great place to spend an afternoon, and there's a wealth of sights to see in Ludlow, with more than 500 listed buildings and a magnificent castle.
