About this property

No3 On The Severn is a fabulous and historic building, set in the heart of the beautiful town of Bridgnorth in the scenic county of Shropshire. Originally a Rivermans refuge in Victorian times, it has also been a brewery, a pub and more recently a bed and breakfast, since it was built in 1698. The property has in the last two years undergone a major painstaking redevelopment and transformation into what is now a luxury dwelling. With a vast collection of lavish bedrooms, exquisite living areas and a whole host of attractions available, this property is ideal for a large party of friends and families alike. Inside, there is the stylish and decorative hall and living room which offers you the chance to keep up to date with all your favourite shows on the Smart TV while you relax in complete bliss. Should you fancy some more engaging indoor activities during your stay, make use of the games room which has a dart board, pool table and football table waiting to be used by anyone looking for some friendly competition. In the sunnier months, head out to the enclosed courtyard, offering plenty of seating for you to enjoy a delightful glass of wine or ice cold beer. If you’re looking to unwind even more, the why not take advantage of one of the two luxury bath tubs, including the “tub for two” which sits in the stunning, luxurious and spacious master suite. When sleep calls, one of the many sophisticated bedrooms will guide you to your rest after your day of adventures. If you can rip yourself away from your new abode, the local attractions in Bridgnorth are only a few minutes away and are aplenty with Bridgnorth Castle and Gardens, and Bridgnorth Golf Club for the sporty ones. If you feel like giving the chef of the group the night off one evening, why not indulge in a night out at The Atrium, a highly reviewed restaurant that boasts a famous menu developed by head chef Theo Van Deventer. If you're feeling adventurous, why not embark on a journey at the Severn Valley Railway, an award-winning heritage railway visitor attraction, running through 16-miles of beautiful Worcestershire and Shropshire countryside, or even visit the world famous Bridgnorth Cliff funicular railway, which for over a century has been transporting people up and down the 111 ft sandstone cliffs that separate High Town from Low Town, and the River Severn. Further out, you can find The Iron Bridge to see a slice of Britain's industrial past, Wenlock Priory and the National Trust - Attingham Park all of which are easily accessible by car. The city of Birmingham is also nearby which offers the National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham, the Big Wheel and the Bullring shopping centre if you feel like spoiling yourselves. This luxurious escape is waiting for you, treat yourselves by booking your stay at No3 On The Severn.

The market town of Bridgnorth lies in two very distinct halves - the High Town and the Low Town - separated by the red sandstone ridge on which the town is built. The two halves are connected by winding streets and flights of steps, or there is always the steep funicular railway, enabling the weary traveller to glimpse what Charles I called "the finest view in all my kingdom". A bustling Saturday street market provides an ample excuse to explore the town and examine the castle ruins, which lean at a greater angle than the Leaning Tower of Pisa! Flowing below is the River Severn, providing many pleasant riverside walks. The Severn Valley Railway runs between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, and runs a variety of steam and diesel engines through picturesque country stations. In the areas surrounding Bridgnorth, there are a wealth of country parks, impressive houses, museums and picturesque Shropshire villages, as well as easy access to The Royal Air Force Museum at Cosford, and Ironbridge Gorge, with its 10 museums and striking landscape. The area offers excellent walking, and with the popular destinations of Shrewsbury, Ludlow and Church Stretton all within easy reach, it is ideal for a visit any time of the year.
