Initially you state that arrival and departure are at 12:00 (noon) but then further on in not so large print it states that entry is 3pm or 4pm in some cases and departure at 9, 9:30 or even 10:00. Whilst we totally understand there has to be a cleaning period between let's this time frame us unacceptable, especially as we have now moved in from covid. We use Sykes two or three times a year and continue to meet this misinformation. We would appreciate the posting of only one time if arrival and departure else we will have to use another letting company.

The property had everything that we needed, and the layout of the kitchen to the dining area to the lounge and conservatory works really well for a large group. The outdoor space is really useful and gave plenty of space for a toddler to run around very happily all weekend! It really is a great place to stay.

The Nest was very clean, well equipped and a good size for our family of nine and two dogs. The beds are really comfortable and we all slept well. There are very helpful labels that made life easier. The outside space was great when the temperature climbed above 12C, and the log fire fabulous when it didn’t. The only disappointment was the Sykes advert listed and showed a photo of a hot tub, which is no longer there. Hugely disappointing on arrival. We phoned the owners and they were annoyed by Sykes’ error so not their fault!
