About this property

Weavers Cottage is a beautiful Grade ll listed Cotswold stone cottage, located on a peaceful street in the heart of the historic village of Broadway. The elegant cottage sleeps five guests in three lovely bedrooms and is the perfect base for a family or group of friends who are seeking to explore the picturesque Cotswolds.

Be welcomed into the small entrance hall, where you will walk up to small steps into the characterful sitting room, perfect for winding down in the evenings with your loved ones, snuggled on the three-seater sofa, whilst the woodburning stove warms the whole room and creates a gentle light.

A further three steps lead you into the open-plan kitchen/diner, that is stylishly decorated and contains everything you will need to rustle up a delicious evening meal and gather around the dining table to toast to a fantastic holiday that lies ahead.

Tuck your child into bed in the single room conveniently located on the ground floor which has an en-suite shower room and take the evening drinks out into the delightful garden comprising of a paved patio area and a raised pebbled area, with a bench on the patio, and at the rear of the garden there is a lovely garden table with four chairs and four stools, perfect for enjoying the summer evenings with a charcoal barbecue available during the summer months.

When the night draws to a close, head up to the first-floor where you will find the master where you can have a warming shower in the walk-in shower en-suite before popping on the television and watching your favourite show from the comfort of your super-king-size bed and the second bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom where you can indulge amongst the bubbles in the bath before heading to bed.

When the sun rises, make use of the filter coffee machine and have an awakening beverage before getting ready to head out for the day; take a walk over to Hunters Tea room for a wonderful breakfast, before having a leisurely stroll around Broadway to discover an array of individual shops and restaurants, such as Cheltenham House Antiques, Blandford Books and Hamiltons Chocs & Sweets, where you’ll surely not leave empty handed!

Chipping Campden can be easily accessed by taking a scenic walk along the Cotswold Way walking trail and alighting at the War Memorial to enjoy a lovely walk around the 17th century market square before having a well-earned heart-warming meal at Eight Bells Inn.

The wonderful market town of Evesham, is home to the Almonry Museum and gift shop, where you can discover exhibitions about the Abbey, the battle of Evesham in 1265, horticulture in the area, Anglo-Saxon burial treasure, 18th Century clothing and the impact of war upon this little market town – it's a very interesting and educational day out – finish off by taking The Hampton Ferry, which is a pedestrian cable ferry linking Evesham and the district of Hampton, across the River Avon in the English county of Worcestershire.

Stratford-upon-Avon can be accessed in just over 30 minutes by car, which is the birthplace of William Shakespeare where there is an array of attractions including The Creaky Cauldron, Magic Alley, Tudor World and the beautiful Bancroft Gardens, perfect for a day out with the kids!
