Guests say

Wesley Cottage is highly praised for its cleanliness, cosy comfort, and well-equipped facilities, making it a home from home. Its location is appreciated for being close to both town and countryside, with good public transport links, although parking can be tricky. Guests have enjoyed the proximity to attractions and the thoughtful touches like wine and chocolates, though these are not guaranteed.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently note the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained. There are minor mentions of specific items needing attention, but these do not detract significantly from the overall high standards observed.

The location is generally seen as convenient and good for exploring the Yorkshire area, with easy access to public transport. However, some guests noted the busy road and parking difficulties, slightly impacting the score.

The cottage is frequently described as comfortable and cosy, with a particularly comfy bed highlighted. Some guests suggested additional seating for improved comfort, but overall satisfaction with comfort is high.

Facilities are well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped for guests' needs. Maintenance issues are minor, such as lighting problems and hot water concerns, but they are infrequent enough not to overshadow the positive feedback.

While some guests mentioned receiving wine and chocolates, these gifts are not consistently referenced across reviews, and it is not clear if they are a standard offering for all guests. Therefore, a score cannot be accurately provided, and guests should not expect these items as guaranteed.

Only drawback is the busy road and at times noisy pub next door. Freezer needs defrosting as door didn't shut properly.

Convenient local. Right next to plenty of shops, pub and takeaway shops. Parking was complicated. I would recommend bumping up on pavement at the pub entrance, then driving marginally past the property entrance. At which point l would reverse parking into space outside property. Do not drive in to park, as access to the road is on a bend of a busy road.
