Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the cottage as spotlessly clean, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes to the overall positive experience.

The location is frequently highlighted as excellent, being close to the main street, attractions, and offering a quiet environment, making it an ideal base for exploring.

The comfort of Thimble Cottage is well-received, with high-quality bedding and a spacious bathroom. However, a few guests noted the sofa could be more supportive, slightly impacting the comfort score.

About this property

Thimble Cottage is a contemporary, two-bedroom dwelling resting in the heart of Haworth, West Yorkshire. Well-positioned near a hub of amenities and attractions, Thimble Cottage offers a delightful base for up to four guests, complete with a private patio, off-road parking, highly sought-after in the area, and a stylish interior, making it a wonderful home-from-home. Reverse to the side of the property and park up, before stepping indoors, reaching the chic living/dining room, complete with plenty of plush seating, a lovely electric fire, wall-mounted Smart TV, and a dedicated space for dining and socialising. The kitchen is fully-equipped and complete with state-of-the-art appliances to ease your self-catered stay, and with a south-facing garden to take advantage of, bask in the Yorkshire sunshine whilst dining alfresco and planning your itinerary, ending with an evening tipple. Travel upstairs to reach the king-size bedroom, complete with an indulgent roll-top bath, whilst a sleek shower room rests next door. Reach the second floor, home to a well-appointed super-king-size bedroom, with plenty of space to store your belongings; both bedrooms also feature Smart TVs for those lazier mornings. Haworth is a fantastic base for embracing the best of the Yorkshire Dales, with attractions such as the Bronte Parsonage Museum, Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, the cobbled main street, dotted with independent shops and popular eateries, and the wild open moors for long strolls. For a shopping spree, the nearby vibrant town of Skipton has a high street full of shops, beautiful architecture, an abundance of eateries, and a lively market, whilst further afield, the town of Hebden Bridge is the perfect day trip, set near River Calder, with Heptonstall Museum, plenty of amenities, and art galleries to tour, whilst travelling a little further will bring you to the National Trust - Hardcastle Crags, breathtaking waterfalls, and nature-filled country parks. All of this awaits with a stay at Thimble Cottage.

The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.

Very well appointed. Fantastic location in the centre of Haworth and most importantly, parking for 2 cars. We had to contact the owner on a couple of occasions for minor issues and we received prompt communication. Would highly recommend this cottage and would not hesitate to return

The kitchen is small but well equipped. The location is excellent and a short walk from the Main Street. The parking space is a bonus. A good base to explore the area.

Minutes walk to everything to see and visit in the historic town. Great location to visit other parts of Yorkshire.
