Hebden Bridge itself has plenty of bars and restaurants, and even a famous old cinema where tea and cakes are served in the interval. The cottage is lovely in a lovely location (although in snowy, icy conditions, it might be quite scary). The property is well heated, plenty of towels and comfy beds.Plenty of room for all of our party (5 adults, and 3 children), with easy access to both Hebden Bridge and Heppenstall.A slight criticism but nothing that spoilt the holiday, was, couldn't use 1 shower from our first morning due to a significant leak (the owner did send someone on the day but it couldn't be resolved during our stay).I lifted a chair in the kitchen and the back came away in my hand. The bannister wobbled at the bottom, the fixing wasn't great. The baby gate fixing pulled away from the wall. Finally, we cooked a lot but the oven cookware had mostly seen better days.We paid a significant amount for our stay over New Year so these minor criticism's were a little surprising.
