Situated in North Lincolnshire, just over the border with South Yorkshire and close to the Nottinghamshire boundary the cottage is a secluded hideaway in the agricultural village of Wroot. Doncaster, famous for its horse racing, Robin Hood Airport, golf and fishing are all close by. The cottage overlooks the owner’s carefully tended garden which is totally enclosed. Shop and pub ¼ mile, restaurant 3 miles.

A superb holiday base if you are in that part of the country. It is well equipped, warm and welcoming. The hosts are friendly and helpful with their local knowledge. We visited Normanby hall and Clumberpark, met family twice and explored the local area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to the next time.Thank you, Sue and Lol Oakes.

It was amazing. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was breathtaking. Very quiet and peaceful. Very beautiful and charming. Would definitely stay again. 100% recommend staying here. Close proximity to lots of different activities. Very picturesque. Bed was so comfortable my partner slept like a baby. Shower was lovely and refeshing.On arrival there was jams, spreads, sconce and tea/coffee supplies ready to be used. The place smelt lovely and clean. The garden was a pleasure to look at and sit in with a varied seating available.

A beautiful cottage, equipped with everything you could need plus milk and orange juice in the fridge, and a delicious pack of biscuits. Lovely decor throughout and lovely hosts. Would definitely recommend.
