Step inside and the heart of this holiday home is the open plan living space, decorated in neutral tones and flooded with natural light from two sets of doors leading out to the enclosed garden and a roof lantern above the dining area. The large seating area offers a selection of deep filled wrap around sofas which are ideally placed to enjoy an evening in front of the Smart TV. The immaculate kitchen sits to one side and offers an array of appliances to make your stay an easy one. Take a seat at the central island and enjoy a morning coffee, or perhaps partake in a glass of wine whilst watching the chef in the group prepare a delicious home cooked evening meal which can be enjoyed at the large dining table. A small utility room with washing machine and separate toilet complete the ground floor facilities.
During the summer months throw open the doors and enjoy the enclosed garden and patio. The garden furniture is well placed to make the most of the mid-day sun, and a large private hot tub will provide the ultimate place for a relaxing dip. Cheviot has four bedrooms for you to choose from, two being en-suite. All bedrooms are beautifully presented with luxury soft furnishings and plenty of storage. The accommodation is completed with a house bathroom.
The village of Walkington has everything you will need from a selection of village pubs serving great food and real ale, to a local convenience store. A short drive will bring you to the neighbouring town of Beverley. Here you can enjoy a day at Beverley Races, explore the open green space of Westwood, spend the day exploring the cobbled streets and the plethora of independent shops and restaurants. Beverley is also well known for its thriving music scene in the evening. A little further afield are the traditional seaside towns of Hornsea and Filey, perfect for a day at the beach and a fish and chip supper. With easy access to miles of cycle routes and footpaths, with great road links to both York and the East Coast, Cheviot is the perfect holiday home for your East Riding of Yorkshire holiday.

Cheviot is a lovely house in a good location. Great socialising space with kitchen, dining, lounge all one space.. However non of the tvs in the house worked. Although you could stream on the lounge tv. The parking is not for 3 cars. Even for 2 you have to park tandem. There was space on the road. We enjoyed our stay just a few things including master bedroom shower need tweaking.

We arrived for new year for 4 nights ,and the village was more than we expected 3 pubs right next door to accommodation and local shop, 2.5 miles from beverley Town centre. House was lovely very modern and clean very spacious,and hot tub for people, which grandaughter loved.Had issue with televisions in bedrooms did not work and only netflix main tv in lounge , but owner tried to fix but managed,overall we loved it,and will be going back.
