Castaways is a well-regarded cottage praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and comfortable furnishings. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like cuddly toys and the scent of the towels. While some guests suggest improvements regarding air fresheners and outdoor furniture, the overall sentiment is positive, with the property offering a cosy and enjoyable stay.
The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as 'beautifully clean' and 'well looked after.' The only minor issue mentioned was the presence of air fresheners, which may not align with preferences for all guests.
There is insufficient information in the reviews to accurately assess the location of the property. No specific comments about the location's convenience, scenery, or accessibility were provided.
Comfort is consistently highlighted, with guests finding the beds extremely comfortable and the cottage cosy. The presence of modern electric fires and beanbags adds to the comfort level, although one guest had issues with the heating.
Facilities are generally well-received, with modern fixtures and smart TVs. However, some guests noted the lack of outdoor furniture, a washing machine, and issues with the heating and shower temperature, indicating room for improvement.
Thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of cuddly toys and the overall attention to detail. However, as gifts like these are not guaranteed for every guest, this score reflects the positive sentiment without setting an expectation for future guests.
