Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Decking with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 2 medium-sized dogs welcome. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This beautifully furnished lodge welcomes guests to an exceptional base, from here you are only a 15-minute walk away from the beach steps, with the stunning coastal destinations of Bridlington, Flamborough, Bempton, Filey and Scarborough all within easy reach. In land you also have the gorgeous Wolds to discover. Skirted by your own private decking where you can enjoy the sun’s rays, this is a peaceful location where you can see plenty of wildlife, look out for the deer that roam the surrounding golf course. Stepping inside you are welcomed into the spacious open plan living area. There are two well-furnished bedrooms, both boasting en-suites, the master double bedroom has a free standing bath, where you can unwind after a big day out. The second bedroom is generous in size, with twin beds and an en-suite walk-in shower. An additional cloakroom/utility room houses a further toilet and wash basin as well as the convenience of laundry facilities. The site club house serves fantastic meals and in the summer months you can enjoy a drink on the large open terrace overlooking the sea.
There is an 18-hole golf course, driving range and gym, all payable locally at the club house. Nearby you could enjoy some horse riding or spot the local wildlife during your adventures out in the countryside. The village of Sewerby is just a short stroll away where you can find a local pub serving good food as well as a fish and chip shop. From Sewerby you can walk along the cliff tops down to Bridlington or in the summer months a land train is available. The holiday lodge park backs onto Sewerby Hall, a Georgian mansion open to the public. The gardens are spectacular, and the house is host to many events throughout the year.
Yorkshire is renowned for its stately homes so as well as Sewerby Hall you also have Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall just a short drive away. Neighbouring Bridlington has many attractions, the main one being the long golden beach. Here there is also a seaside fair, swimming pool with children’s splash area, clip and climb and arcades making this a fun family destination. There are plenty of bars, pubs, and restaurants to be found as well as some great shopping to be had in the town centre. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub, and restaurant 600 yards.

A massive disappointment.4 nights over the Christmas period, 2 adults 1 child. We specifically looked for a Christmas break that included Christmas decoration,booked fir tree as it clearly stated decorated for Christmas. We wasn't expecting lapland but we did expect a small tree,lights some Christmas sparkle,a place for santa to leave his gift with all the rest. Arrived Christmas eve and not a single decoration in sight,nothing,shops shut can't fix that disappointment! The bedrooms/bathrooms and hallway,absolutely freezing, Bedding not near adequate for the time of year, turned on all radiators and up to max,nothing! Tried the thermostat,it shut down,consistently! It wouldnt operate because it needed charging,it couldnt charge because its not getting the power it needs to operate, no power,no connection which means its not been wired correctly or installed by a qualified engineer,no electrical safety certification to say otherwise. So on top of no heating no hot water! No contact details for owner. Number in book,no answer! The only heat we had was from the fire in main living room. Abandoned the bedrooms from the second night,slept in living room. No instructions for the oven,spent half hour pushing buttons for something to happen,only way to turn it of was at the wall. No instructions for the dishwasher but easier to work out than the oven. What was supposed to be some qaulity family time at Christmas was anything but that. Fir tree lodge is not something we will return too nor will we recommend it to friends and family.

Lovely lodge as it was dark we needed torches but they wasn’t where it was said they would be so lucky enough we had phones We found the heating a pain kept saying thermostat needed to charge ? We would advise making sure towels are on the floor when showering These are just little things and we have already booked to stay again
