Bella's Cottage receives high praise for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and comfortable amenities. Guests appreciate the friendly owners, the beautiful walled garden, and the bonus of a swimming pool and tennis court. The location is central for exploring nearby attractions, and the village pub offers convenient dining. Some minor issues are noted, but overall, the property provides a delightful stay.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, with only a few mentioning areas that needed more attention. The positive remarks far outweigh the negatives, indicating a high standard of cleanliness.
The cottage is consistently described as being in a pleasant village with good access to local attractions and walks. The central location for visiting nearby towns and the coast is frequently mentioned as a positive aspect.
Guests generally find the beds and living spaces comfortable, with a few noting the size of the cottage as larger than expected. However, one guest mentioned discomfort due to a bad back, slightly impacting the overall comfort score.
The swimming pool, tennis court, and walled garden are highly appreciated by guests. The availability of a pub across the road is also noted. Some guests mentioned issues with Wi-Fi and pub quality, but the additional facilities provided are well-regarded.
While some guests mention welcome gifts such as wine and biscuits, there are not enough references to consistently evaluate the thoughtfulness of the hosts. Therefore, while gifts are occasionally provided, they should not be expected on every visit.

Olly, the owner was very helpful when I messaged him with several queries. The front of the cottage was very dark at night as the outside light didn't work, Olly said he would call out an electrician, but that didn't happen during our stay. It meant I could enjoy the clear skies and stargazing, but was difficult to walk the dog (and pick up after him) as we didn't have a torch. There was no information folder, which would have been useful, as we didn't know much about the area, how to set the heating or what items went into what bin and also didn't realise for the first few days that there was free firewood and kindling in one of the garages. Positives- The cottage was a really good size, the kitchen had everything we needed, there was milk and fizz left for us in the fridge, the soft furnishings were all of very good quality, nice bedding etc. Free firewood and kindling for cold nights. Owners live on site and were very helpful. Good wi-fi connection meant my partner was able to work whilst we were there. Great dog friendly pub directly across the road. Beautiful rural area. Negatives- We found the settee very uncomfortable, too low and not supportive. Poor lighting outside in the manor grounds, making it difficult to let the dog have a short comfort walk when it was dark. It wasn't clear which areas were for walking the dog and which weren't. Also I use a walking stick as I have mobility difficulties and the paddock for dog exercise was inaccessible to me, which wasn't clear when booking. There was a strong smell of paint when we arrived and some areas were dusty. No information book/file.

Welcome gift of biscuits and wine - we were blown away. Had a problem with the hot water which was sorted as soon as mentioned, also the hoover had gone missing so he gave us his - wood for the fire was unlimited along with coal although the central heating was on so the fire was really for cosiness. There was a dog walk and location was great for trips out.
