Very lovely and enjoyed by all pub and food just on the door step and also 2 convenience stores a stone throw away from the cottage and a lovely fish and chip shop around the corner so good all round.

Lovely cottage with everything we needed to have a cooked meal and more. It was nice to have a welcome pack with tea and coffee etc. We loved the layout and having lots of large sofas was a plus. The shower was amazing, my husband wants one now! We loved the village, especially the bakery. There are two pubs and two shops very close by, we didn't get to try the take away fish and chip shop, this always seemed busy though. We did try the take away pizza and that was lovely. When we arrived we thought being on the main road would cause noise issues with cars etc but that was fine. A couple of very small issues due to having a dog with us. There was no where for the dog to be let off lead and have a run within walking distance. Also the back garden is really only big enough for the car, I understand why as there isn't much on-street parking. Our dog is very good and will not wander off, but not having an enclosed garden could cause a problem for some. Fraisthorpe beach is a wonderful year round dog friendly beach with coffee shop and dog wash area (chargeable), just 20 minutes away in the car.

Lovely cottage. Well equipped. Village is quite rural but shops, pubs & take aways all present and it's not far to the beach. Need a car.Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday there.
