Nestled on the banks of a grand lake, featuring central heating and a wood-fired hot tub, Evergreen Lodge provides accommodation for up to four people near Brandesburton, East Yorkshire. A wonderful place to immerse yourself in nature with an abundance of activities on your doorstep, this hideaway is an idyllic retreat for a family or a group of friends to enjoy. Scenic country walks, magical woodland ambles, kayaking, adventure golf, stunning coastal day trips, and pretty market towns are just a few of the excellent activities located nearby.
Upon entering the lodge, you are welcomed into a large open-plan living area boasting views across the tranquil water. All home comforts are provided, and the lodge is equipped with modern appliances. The kitchen area offers an oven/microwave, gas hob, and a fridge. With seating for four guests, the large dining table is a perfect spot for playing games or sharing a meal on chillier evenings.
The inviting master bedroom hosts a king-size bed and countryside views framed by french doors. A bunk bed is provided in the second bedroom, best suited for children, though an adult can use the bottom bed. These rooms are served by a convenient shower room located within the lodge, and a heated towel rail offers extra warmth and comfort.
Outside, the spacious decked area overlooks the lake. A wonderful place to sit and relax, you can also unwind in the wood-fired hot tub, as the sun goes down.
Wander just a few steps from your lodge and you'll find a little trail that follows the curve of the lake all the way to the magical willow wooded area, or for a longer walk follow a delightful bridleway track to the local village and perhaps lunch at the stunning Bert’s lakeside restaurant (Brandesburton). Make the most of being lakeside and hire a 2-3 seater kayak and simply enjoy the lake at your own pace. Also, suitable for beginners looking to explore their adventurous side.
Fishing is available during your stay, offering a tranquil way to switch off and make the most of your time together. Please be mindful of other guests and lake users, including kayakers, by keeping fishing lines and equipment safely managed. A valid Rod Licence is required for freshwater fishing in England and Wales and you should bring your own equipment. Barbed hooks are not permitted.
