As you step inside Lookout Lodge and you will find a spacious open-plan room, with the well-equipped kitchen to your left, a comfortable sofa and seating area to your right and a king-size bed located at the far end, perfectly positioned to enjoy the lovely views across the lake. The lodge also has a private en-suite bathroom with a double shower and twin basins, giving you all the comforts you need for a relaxing stay.

Here you can cook your favourite food in the well-equipped kitchen, enjoy a quiet meal outside while listening to the birdsong, or head out to discover the Yorkshire coast and the nearby market towns. There is nothing better than knowing a private wood-fired hot tub is waiting for you after a day of exploring.

Wander just a few steps from your lodge and you'll find a little trail that follows the curve of the lake all the way to the magical willow wooded area, or for a longer walk follow a delightful bridleway track to the local village and perhaps lunch at the stunning Bert’s lakeside restaurant (Brandesburton).

Fishing is available during your stay, offering a tranquil way to switch off and make the most of your time together. Please be mindful of other guests and lake users, including kayakers, by keeping fishing lines and equipment safely managed. A valid Rod Licence is required for freshwater fishing in England and Wales and you should bring your own equipment. Barbed hooks are not permitted.
