Guests appreciate the peaceful setting and the property's suitability for both children and pets. Some guests have highlighted areas for improvement, but the overall experience is positive, with special mentions of the welcome hamper adding a thoughtful touch.

The cleanliness of the property has received mixed feedback. While some guests found it to be well-kept, others noted issues with the swimming pool and general upkeep. The presence of hair and grime in the pool suggests a need for better maintenance.

The location is praised for its quietness and remoteness, ideal for those seeking peace and relaxation. It is a drive away from local amenities, which is suitable for guests looking for a secluded getaway.

Guests have found the beds comfortable and the rooms cosy, contributing to a relaxing stay. However, there are mentions of some facilities needing updates, which could affect overall comfort.

The facilities, including a swimming pool and games room, are a highlight for many guests. Nonetheless, several reviews point out the need for repairs and updates, such as fixing the pool tiles and replacing the baize on game tables.

The welcome hamper is frequently mentioned as a delightful surprise, reflecting the property's thoughtfulness towards guests. However, it should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, may not be a consistent offering.

Very remote location if you are after piece and quiet this is the place for you. If you need local shops or amenities stay else where. There is a swimming pool, and a games room with full size snooker and pool tables, on site. We brought most of our own food but we did pop out to local areas, which is a good 15 minute drive., to the nearest. Comfy bed and rooms with all the kitchen requirements plus a complimentary hamper basket very nice too.
