Brilliant week at The Granary - well equipped, great games room and play area, lovely to be able to feed the animals and collect eggs. Nothing too much bother.. Lots of thoughtful extras and a generous Welcome Pack.

Probably the best value for money property we've stayed in. We were only looking for 3/4 nights initially but great value that the full week was the same price so some stayed longer! Equipped with everything you'd want. Enough kitchen stuff to host 15-20 people! Size of kitchen/diner table was fantastic. Very warm property despite the wooden floors. Underfloor heating likely the reason. Shame we didn't need to light the open fire! Owners and staff incredibly friendly and couldn't help enough with queries and help and advice. The extra facilities were great for all. The grounds and farm activities brilliant and the quality of the snooker table (despite a very small chunk missing from the cloth) and the table tennis table unexpected. Tough to keep things perfect when used by so many. Even options for bird/owl watching in the fields. Everything is driving distance but there's enough there that one doesn't need to leave the property if you've got enough supplies!Couple of minor points with us not quite being prepared for the low beams at one end of the cottage, and the bath was enjoyed by the kids but it's not quite adult friendly size. There are three bathrooms/shower rooms rather than the two advertised on cottages.com (I nearly didn't book it as thought only two, so worth that being updated). Would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

The perfect cottage, we'll be booking again for next year. Has everything you can possibly need and it was so warm, clean and comfortable. We loved our family weekend at The Granary and can't wait to go back 😊
