Guests say

Guests consistently praise the property for its cleanliness, superb location with sea views, and well-appointed amenities. The comfortable beds and the bay window chair are frequently mentioned highlights. Some guests noted issues with bed comfort and noise, but these are outweighed by the positive feedback. The property's proximity to local shops and the beach adds to its appeal, making it a favoured choice for a relaxing holiday.

The property receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotless condition upon arrival. Guests appreciate the high standards maintained, which contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.

The location is highly praised for its sea views, proximity to the beach, and local amenities. While one review finds the town of Withernsea dated, the property's location itself is considered ideal by the majority, especially for nature lovers and those seeking tranquillity.

Comfort receives a good score, with many guests finding the property and beds comfortable. However, there are several mentions of creaky and hard beds, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being described as well-appointed and equipped. Some guests suggest minor improvements such as additional kitchen utensils and waste bins, but these do not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches beyond the provision of standard amenities, so it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness. However, the provision of amenities such as a swivel chair for sea viewing and a secure garden for children to play in indicates consideration for guest comfort.

Well decorated and appointed with good quality furnishings throughout. Very comfortable, warm & cosy, we didn’t want our holiday to come to an end. We particularly enjoyed the chairs in the windows upstairs and down it was so lovely to sit & watch the waves crashing in it ebbing out everyday and watch the sun rise each morning, I’m going to miss that. It was great that the next door neighbor cleans the windows once a week as that made sitting watching the tides & skies do much more enjoyable (although another clean mid week would have been even better) The only things we would suggest to make No 14 better is to provide a teapot (some of us still use loose tea!!) and a proper tea towel would have been more than useful. We had a fabulous week at No 14. Thank you

A sunny back garden and the beach just across the road at the front of the property. Very clean and comfortable.

My only recommendation would be a wardrobe and bedside lamps in the twin bedroom.
