The cottage was lovely and is set in beautiful grounds. It is so peaceful and relaxing - the only downside is that the WiFi is slow and hardly any phone service but that is not always a negative! There's lots of friendly animals to pet too!The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

What an amazing place to stay. The Cart House was huge and very well equipped with the added bonus of the hot tub and enclosed yard. But the best thing we loved was the petting farm. My daughter suffers with anxiety and from the first day she relaxed and enjoyed the animals so much. We went to visit them daily and the whole place is so tranquil. Liz and Dave could not have been better hosts and job well done for making this a beautiful place to stay. We will certainly be coming back.

We loved our stay at The Cart House. There were a few tiny adjustments we would make like lamps or dimmers in the bedroom, a hand towel hook in the bathroom and a welcome pack that includes how to use heating, where to put rubbish etc. but these certainly didn’t affect our stay or us coming back. The house felt homely and warm, the beds were comfy, we loved the hot tub. Would definitely recommend!
