Just returned from a 5 day break over the festive period with a family of 10. The Stables is an amazing place for a family get together and very well equipped (we were worried as wanted to do a traditional xmas dinner) but there was everything and more we could have needed. The main room is perfect, huge, open plan, plenty of comfy sofas as well as a huge dining table and Kitchen with two of everything!The lads loved the games room and it was great as it was in a separate annex so if some wanted to party they could, while others chilled and watched TV.Bedrooms were spotless, big and comfy. Outdoor space was plentiful and fenced, perfect for our dog.I contacted the owner a couple of times prior and during our stay and he was so lovely and helpful.Just a couple of bits of constructive feedback (that would NOT deter us from coming back again) -No instructions on how to use the oven / heating etc.The main room would really benefit from a fire as it is such a big room it was hard to heat.Shower in our bedroom (double en suite) was very temperamental, either red hot or freezing cold, but fine as we used another shower.All in all this place is perfect, unfortunately it is already booked for next Xmas otherwise we would be booking again, and on looking for an alternative there are very few / none who have the same space and facilities. Highly recommended

We have just a great weekend celebrating my husband`s 80th birthday with our sons and grandchildren. The Stables are amazing with lots of space and amenities. The games room came in handy with everyone joining in playing pool and darts. I would definitely recommend it as its a fabulous place with Hornsea on the doorstep.
