Had a great weekend but we did have a couple of niggles. One of the en-suites smelt damp the whole time we were there. There were no instructions for some of the equipment. The beds were on the small side for two people. The outside area could do with some TLC. That said, it was really clean and the games room and hot tubs were fantastic. The open lounge/diner was brilliant. The location is good if you want peace and quiet. We really enjoyed our holiday.

The property was nice and clean. The games room was a winner but it was a pity that someone had damaged the ceiling with the cues. Within the boundary fence the area was pleasant but the property could only be described as being in the middle of a junk yard. The skip was overflowing with lots of rubbish surrounding it. We had to visit the local household waste recycling centre twice since it didn't seem appropriate to leave it with all the overflowing rubbish.

Had the most wonderful time at the stables ! Absolutely perfect for a group of families for a bday celebration ! Open plan kitchen/dining/lounge perfect for our needs , 2 x hot tubs again suited our party size and bed rooms varied in layout so again met our needs - no concerns !!! Well equipped for kitchen utensils/wares , plenty of towels and some basic provisions such as a couple of bin bags , dishwasher tablets , cleaning cloth …… enough to tide you over till you buy your own ! Games room a fantastic bonus - enough to keep the men and children entertained !!! Hornsea itself ok, a few basic bits to do /break up the day , nice sea front if the weather suites however the lodge and great company is absolutely all that’s needed ! Would book again !
