Nice place to go both into lancaster for the day and to explore the dales which we did for two days! Would definitely stay here again.

Well equipped and very good quality, including the bedding. Only negative comment is that the sofas are very low and could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. Also no visitor book. It would be nice to leave information about places visitors have found interesting or good places to eat (would definitely recommend Bridge House Farm Tearooms Wray. Lovely food and dog friendly).

Quiet little village in a good central location for lots of different walks, and visits to interesting villages. Nice walk along the river to Higher Bentham, where there's food shops and a bakery. We enjoyed our visit to the pub at the bottom of the road even though we had a power cut. Thank you very much, we appreciated the goodies.
