Nestled in the idyllic rural village of Eldroth, this superb holiday property, adjoining the owners’ home, makes a delightful hideaway for couples, families and small groups. Holme House exudes, luxury, style and quality as well as offering peace and tranquillity, with large private garden and countryside views. Accessed down a private track, once inside the property you will never want to leave. In the evening, listen to the sheep bleating or the hoot of the night owl. Then as you enjoy your morning coffee, listen to the call of the cockerels.
The accommodation boasts a characterful living room with multi-fuel stove and two comfy sofas, a perfect place to cosy up of an evening or relax with a magazine and a morning coffee. The spacious farmhouse style kitchen/diner also has a multi-fuel stove, and an abundance of duck egg blue units complemented by a granite worktop. Sit at the large oak farmhouse table with luxury chairs and enjoy a hearty breakfast, lunch or evening meal. Leading off the dining room is the summer room sporting uninterrupted views of the garden. There is large corner sofa here to relax and enjoy the view until your heart’s content. The Yorkshire stone flagged patio area and quality garden furniture are accessed via the aluminium bi-fold doors. Beyond the patio area is an extensive lawn with children’s play area perfect for outdoor fun in the garden. On the first floor there is a sumptuous master bedroom with super king zip and link bed. The bed is so inviting, you will find it hard to leave the room without trying it out. Across the landing is a fabulous bathroom which certainly has the ’wow’ factor! A roll-top bath, large vanity unit with granite worktop, Cloud Nine hairdryer and straighteners available, toilet and enormous wet room with huge shower head to luxuriate under after a day of adventure. There is a further luxury kingsize bed in the second bedroom. The second bedroom has a unique night-sky ceiling giving the experience of falling asleep under hundreds of twinkling stars. This bedroom also has a stylish en-suite with bath, toilet and sink. The third bedroom boasts a double bed, storage and views across the garden. Each bedroom also have blackout blinds to aid a great nights sleep.
Eldroth is close to the market town of Settle, perfectly placed for exploring the Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. Holme House lies within open countryside, an ideal base for the Yorkshire three peaks walks or cycling. Eldroth is also within easy reach of the cities of Lancaster, Leeds and York and a short drive from the Historic Town of Skipton, Clitheroe and Kirkby Lonsdale.

This is truly a beautiful setting for a cosy, stylish and very clean cottage.We are a family of four including two teenagers. We loved the comfortable bedrooms, spacious living space and well equipped kitchen. Claire, the host, was friendly and welcoming but respectful of our privacy. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this is the best for our family. Although we had a much needed quiet break, reading in the sunroom, we also visited the local ‘Courtyard Dairy’ with vast array of cheeses and were within easy reach of the three peaks and Malham Cove.

Holme House exceeded all our expectations.Absolutely amazing host. Claire made us feel so welcome and at home. Her home baked cake was far too tasty.Claire was so helpful and her communication throughout was fantastic. Holme house itself is just pure bliss. Exceptionally clean and comfortable with every amenity you could need. Tasteful decor and classic furniture. Absolutely loved having a washing machine. Even the liquid pods were provided. Nice to not have dirty laundry hanging around for a week.The sun room has amazing views as do all the windows in the house. It is the only place we have stayed that I can honestly say I would return to and we are well travelled. My eldest Daughter has fell in love with the place.The garden is fantastic and amazing for adults and children alike. Our girls loved the play area and loved having sheep and cows for neighbours. Fell in love with the home and fell in love with the area.Thank you so much Claire. We will definitely return to Holme House.Love the McLeans.

All we can say is "WOW", Holme house goes above and beyond any holiday home we have ever stayed in, from the most amazing home made lemon drizzle cake to delicious fresh eggs from their hen's. Claire has thought of absolutely everything, this is a true home from home. The moment you walk through the door everything is beautifully clean and so well looked after, there are also stunning views from every single window. A large garden, with amazing playground, which is great for kids. A superb hot tub, with the most amazing views, plenty of indoor and outdoor games are also provided and Claire has even left plasters, cream and afterbite just incase. We have never settled in so quickly or been so sad to leave a holiday home, we can't wait to come back ( would be back within weeks if availability was there). Honestly, can not rate this highly enough, thank you for helping us to make some lasting memories!!!!!
