Itâs really cosy and well appointed. We felt right at home straightaway and the extra bowls and treats showed that dogs are most welcome (this was our 7 month old Labradors first holiday!) Car parking was on the street, although we always found a space really close by. The local walks are good and the village was nice and peaceful.

My only downside comment is the parking situation which the cottage owners have no control over.

Everything we needed was there. Fantastically comfy clean beds, hot water, gorgeous decor, wonderful spacious bathroom with gorgeous flooring. Peaceful private garden. Lovely river walk & great market towns to visit. Arnside was fab! The welcome biscuits were yummy but the milk provided was out of date & sour I'm afraid but nice idea. I managed to park nearby ok too. I didn't know the area was famous for silk making so the cottage has a very apt name. I would highly recommend the cottage to anyone wanting to explore the area.
