Bentham is a town resting between the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the north, and the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the south. Home to an annual agricultural show, it is a rural settlement and is split into High Bentham and Low Bentham, with the River Wenning running between the two. Bentham has lots to offer by way of shops and pubs, and also has a playing field and a golf club.
