Great cottage with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Weather was less than ideal but cottage was warm and welcoming to come back to.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Owls Rest. It was spotlessly clean with everything you needed. Tea coffee sugar milk and chocolate biscuits included. Vernon is a fantastic host. Sent links to local walks & things of interest. Unfortunately weather was not brilliant so didn’t get to do any walks. The cottage is ideally located to visit the surrounding area. We visited Grassington, Skipton and Skipton castle, Ilkley and Otley. A steam train ride at Embsay and Bolton Railway was a treat. There are several recommended eateries nearby and we had an excellent meal at The Roebuck Otley. Would definitely recommend owls rest and hope to stay again as there is so much more we would have liked to see.

We spent 3 nights at Owls Rest. It was a lovely, relaxing spot. The converted farm building was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It maximised light at all times of the day and evening with Velux windows. A morning coffee patio, and evening sun seat were made good use of during our time. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Our hosts Vernon and Helen were brilliant. Forwarding local walks and maps for our perusal. A welcome pack of essentials were provided which was a surprise including a very nice bottle of red. Thankyou ! We shall be back.Places we visited nearby included, Ilkley, Otley, Hebden Bridge, Harrogate and knaresborough, Pately Bridge.
