Introducing Stoffhaus: A brand new bohemian 5m bell tent in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
Located in a private garden alongside our beautiful boat ‘Haus’, offering the unique experience of living off grid whilst enjoying stunning views of the Leeds-Liverpool canal.
Our 5m bell tent comfortably sleeps two adults, plus room for some little ones and an option for an additional blow up bed for 2 more adults.
Stoffhaus is located on a large grassed area which we have transformed into our garden and private mooring for our boat.
Please bare in mind that although this is a luxury bell tent there is still the element of camping outdoors. All cooking must be done outdoors rain or shine! We do have a semi- sheltered seating area covered by a large willow tree. You will be provided with a small camping stove and kettle along with appropriate kitchen equipment to make basic meals with.
We do not have free flowing water down here but you are provided a day pass to the neighbouring hotel to use their facilities, including hot showers, pool, gym and a sauna.
You do have a private compostable toilet and some toiletries within the Stoffhaus garden but no sink or washing facilities on site.

We are Gemma and Jack and we live on our canal boat Haus. We've created a mooring that is too beautiful not to be used whilst we're out cruising so welcome you to come and stay in Stoffhaus and use the space like your own! We may be moored up next to Stoffhaus during your stay but we will leave you to enjoy the space without any hassle. Just know were on hand 24/7 if you need us.
Were located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales with great facilities near by. We are a 5 minute walk to the local pub who have a beer garden over looking the canal and serve great food all day. We also have a supermarket, Mcdonalds and The Range across the road from us.
The bus stop is also at the bottom of the lane. the nearside bus stop will take you towards Keighley and the one opposite will take you into Skipton. We have some leaflets with bus times on in the magazine rack.
Skipton is a 20 minute walk along the canal if you turn right at the swing bridge.
Feel free to use the bikes and helmets in the garden, we just ask you keep them locked up when you leave them.
We also have a one person kayak with spray deck and paddle which is free to use. Please do not use the spray deck if you do not know how. Please only use if you are confident on the water, we do not hold any responsibility for injury or damage incurred to yourself or anyone else when on the water.
We do have neighbours who regularly walk their dogs up and down the lane, please be mindful of noise levels past 9pm.
