About this property

An extremely well-presented first floor apartment situated to the rear of a quiet mews development on the outskirts of the attractive village of Ingleton, 6 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale, 9.5 miles from Settle and 16 miles from Kendal.

This modern, self-catering home-from-home has been furnished and equipped to exacting standards, the owners continually making every effort to ensure the accommodation meets all the guests' needs and more besides.

An entrance hall leads through to a sizable open plan living area with two large leather settees, additional easy chair with rocker footrest, large flat screen television and a Blu-ray DVD player. Solid oak furniture includes coffee table, sideboard and display dresser, while the dining area has a matching table and seating. The adjacent kitchen is well fitted and comprehensively meets visitors' requirements.

Generously proportioned accommodation includes a master bedroom with double bed, wall mounted television, plus fitted wardrobe with mirrored sliding door; the second bedroom also features ample clothes storage and a television; each bedroom, again, has solid oak furniture and each has a DAB/FM radio.

Completing the accommodation is a stylish and attractive modern bathroom with a shower over the bath.

This property provides a contemporary yet comfortable feel throughout, with carefully chosen individual touches including local art work and pottery items plus a selection of books, games and DVDS together with a wealth of local information (easily augmented from throughout the flat using the broadband/Wi-Fi). A young child will arrive to find books, toys and craft activities. Altogether, the perfect base for a relaxing break right on the edge of the Dales and within convenient reach of the Three Peaks, Lake District and Forest of Bowland (AONB).

There is first class cycling and walking in this locality, the outstanding Three Peaks region; the ideal base for walking up Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside with Ingleborough itself only a couple of miles from the door. Ribblehead viaduct, the White Scar Caves and Malham Cove are all within easy reach.

A perfect choice for your holiday, whatever time of year.

The attractive village of Ingleton is nestled beneath Ingleborough, one of the famous 'Three Peaks' on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Offering a wide range of shops, pubs and places to eat, the winding streets of this pretty village all converge on a central market place. A mile outside of Ingleton and down the Hawes road are the well known White Scar Caves. Open to the public, these caves display a huge number of caverns full of stalactites and stalagmites, with one cave home to a huge underground lake. The superb 'Falls Walk' offers an interesting circuit which takes in some of the impressive cascading waterfalls of the area whilst the proximity to both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake distract make this an excellent place for walkers.

The homely touches made you feel at home, it was well positioned for Ingleton water falls and caves, there was plenty of walks with beautifull views without travelling too far, I would recommend this flat I cannot fault it.

G.. homemade cakes and biscuits on arrival. Very attentive and friendly property owners. Would definitely use again if/ when we return to the area

  • Julie

The owners had thought of everything and more. Spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and lots of personal touches including some home made treats on arrival. Lots of helpful information in the flat on places to visit and where to eat, which were very much appreciated. Thank you Mark and Stephanie - we had a lovely stay!
