Bridge House is an old miners cottage located in Kettlewell, North Yorkshire. Kettlewell has a number of attractions for tourists, including the Great Whernside, a fell in the Yorkshire Dales. It is a fantastic place to do some countryside hiking. Further afield is Castle Howard, a stately home, with a private residence and has been the home of the Carlisle branch of the Howard family for more than 300 years. Let's not forget the Fountains Abbey which is one of the largest and best preserved ruined Cistercian monasteries in England. Bridge House is the location for friends and families to relax and unwind.
Kettlewell is a village in Upper Wharfedale, North Yorkshire. During the 13th century a market was established in Kettlewell, which became a thriving community. In August the village hosts a scarecrow festival where scarecrows, dressed up as different characters are placed around the village. It is an excellent base for exploring the local historic market towns, caves and waterfalls.
