Hayton Way is a well-liked cottage in Skipton, praised for its excellent location near the town, canal, and park. Guests appreciate the spacious bedrooms, generous welcome packs, and the property's suitability for dogs. While some guests mention the need for a refresh and minor maintenance, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Cleanliness is generally well-regarded, with several guests noting the property was very clean upon arrival. However, a few reviews mention issues such as dirty cups and a kitchen in need of a deep clean, slightly lowering the score.
The location is highly praised for being quiet, convenient, and within walking distance to Skipton town, the canal, and adjacent park. It is also noted as a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.
Most guests find the house comfortable, with good quality bedding and a cosy living room. However, some guests mention low beds and furniture which may not suit everyone, and a few comments about creaky floorboards.
The property is well-equipped with a large kitchen and multiple bathrooms. Guests have reported minor maintenance issues like marks on surfaces, damaged carpets, and noisy appliances, suggesting some areas could benefit from attention.
Guests frequently mention and appreciate the welcome packs, which include items like milk, Prosecco, and biscuits. It's important to note that while these gifts are well-received, their inclusion is a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Nice place stayed before, not as clean as last time, but think its just useage of customers and not looking after whilst they are staying. But overall still a lovely place to stay.

This is a great house in a fantastic location just a short walk into Skipton along the canal. Beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped. Communication was great and access nice and straightforward. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Having stayed twice at this property there are several cups/bowls that are chipped/cracked. I didn’t report on this after my first visit so in the event they hadn’t been replaced this time I took my own cups. A great location and lovely home this was the only negative.
