Guests say

Hayton Way is a well-equipped, spacious cottage in a quiet residential area of Skipton, praised for its excellent location near the park, canal, and town centre. Guests appreciate the comfortable bedrooms, ample bathrooms, and suitability for families and dog owners. Many mention the property’s cleanliness and welcoming touches, though some note minor maintenance issues and occasional lapses in housekeeping. The living room and kitchen can feel a little snug for larger groups, and a few guests mention the need for a refresh. Overall, the property offers a pleasant and convenient base for exploring Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales.

Most guests found the property clean and tidy, with several highlighting spotless bathrooms and fresh bedding. However, a few reviews mention chipped crockery, dirty cups, crumbs in the fridge, and areas needing a deeper clean, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is consistently praised, with guests loving the proximity to the park, canal, and Skipton town centre. The quiet neighbourhood and easy access to local attractions and amenities are standout features.

Guests generally found the house comfortable, with spacious bedrooms and cosy living areas. Some mention low beds and furniture, which may not suit everyone, and note that the living room can be a bit small for larger groups.

The property is well equipped, offering multiple bathrooms, a large kitchen, and secure parking. Some guests mention minor maintenance issues such as chipped crockery, creaky stairs, and a garden needing attention, but overall facilities are appreciated.

Many guests mention thoughtful welcome gifts such as milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, and Prosecco, which are much appreciated. However, as these are not guaranteed for every stay, future guests should not expect them as standard.

Just returned from a four day break. House is in a lovely quiet location with parking to the front. Lovely spacious accommodation which was clean and tidy. It was hot time of year and so I might suggest making fans available as the top floor.A short walk to skipton from the house taking about 10 minutes with lots of bars and restaurants.Overall I would recommend this accommodation to families and independent travellers. .

Really enjoyed our holiday in Skipton. The location of the cottage was excellent, 100 yards away from a park and about 300 yards from the canal leading into Skipton. Close to the railway station and an easy walk into Skipton town centre, and yet in a quiet location. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped.
