The cottage is spacious, clean and comfortable and in an ideal position, close to the Leeds to Liverpool canal and we enjoyed watching the barges slowly glide past from the conservatory. There is a very pleasant walk along the towpath into Skipton which is an attractive town with supermarkets and many interesting shops and also a street market. There are a number of good places in the town in which to eat. The most impressive place we visited was Bolton Abbey which is just a short drive from the cottage. We hope to return to Katy's Cottage for a third stay in the future.
Margaret
The canal for walks was close by and the views from the cottage stunning. Wouldnât hesitate to come back.
Sue
Itâs bigger than Jess with 3 good sized bedrooms and we love that each bedroom has en-suite. Downstairs the rooms are large with beautiful views, and the kitchen is so well provided for including little things like plenty of dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll and tea towels. The canal side walks are great and then returning to a cozy log fire is great. We loved staying here and will definitely be back.
