Kestrel View offers a well-equipped, clean, and spacious base in a peaceful location just outside Skipton, with beautiful views over the golf course and easy access to local attractions. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, on-site bar and restaurant, and lovely walks nearby. While most found the accommodation comfortable and ideal for families or groups, some noted minor issues such as limited fridge space, occasional early morning noise from the golf club, and small maintenance points. Overall, it provides excellent value and a pleasant stay for those visiting the area.
The majority of guests found the property clean and well-presented, with only a few minor mentions of stained chairs or tired en-suite areas.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to Skipton, scenic views, and access to walks and local attractions, though a car is recommended for convenience.
Most guests found the accommodation comfortable, with good beds and a pleasant layout, though a few mentioned the settee and space in non-master bedrooms as less ideal.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and multiple TVs, but some guests noted small fridges, occasional maintenance issues, and limited starter supplies.
Some guests received welcome gifts such as bread, milk, and cake, which were appreciated, but these are not guaranteed and a few guests found supplies lacking on arrival.

Lovely few days here. Staff onsite couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. Flat had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and very comfortable beds. Super location - so peaceful of an evening with beautiful views, but only a short drive into town. Trip to neaeby Bolton Abbey a must - walks to suit all, plenty of paddling spots for kids and cafes reasonable. Recommend Robershaws Farm shop for brunch / lunch in Skipton and Pranzo Italian in Ilkley.

A lovely place to stay at. The accommodation was excellent. The location is outside of Skipton so a car is needed although there is a path into town but it is a long walk. Having a restaurant and bar on site was useful and being able to walk around the course in the evening was lovely. The bedrooms were very nice and having 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms it is perfect for families or friends especially if you enjoy golf.

We had a nice stay at Kestrel View. The apartment was clean and had lovely views over the golf course. I was surprised there was no welcome pack, ie, teabags, milk etc to start us off as in the information pack it said there would be so it was a good thing we had got a few bits before hand from local Tescos. Also only 2 toilet rolls, one in each toilet so I advise guests to bring some along with dishwasher tablets if you want to use dishwasher as there wasn’t any of them either. There was however a bottle of washing up liquid.Showers were nice and I slept well in the bed as I like a soft mattress but if you request the zip and link bed to be made into single beds then keep in mind they’re small singles and not a standard single size. This maybe a problem if you’re a larger person. The kitchen was well equipped with most things you would need but the fridge was very small and if there are 6 adults staying there and you were thinking of cooking most evenings you would struggle to get food for the week in the fridge.Overall our stay was nice, I think reasonably priced and in a nice location.
