Niffany Barn is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and beautiful location by the canal. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the proximity to Skipton, and the scenic walks available right from the doorstep. While some minor concerns about garden security for pets and dated decor were mentioned, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests planning return visits.
The cottage consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with numerous guests noting it was spotless upon arrival. The attention to cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and enjoyment of the guests' stays.
The location is highly praised for its scenic views, proximity to Skipton, and accessibility to the Yorkshire Dales. The canal-side setting is a particular highlight, although some guests noted the entrance to the farm could be improved.
Guests find the cottage warm, comfortable, and well-furnished, with comfortable beds and sofas. However, a few guests mentioned issues with bathroom heating and lumpy pillows, slightly affecting the overall comfort score.
The facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the recently updated bathrooms and the well-equipped kitchen. Some guests felt the decor was dated and mentioned minor issues with water pressure and hot water supply, suggesting room for improvement.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts that would warrant a score in this category.

Helpful, friendly owner. No need to use the car if you wish as Skipton is only a mile along the tow path. Great access to the Dales including, Malham, Grassington, Pately Bridge, Bolton Abbey and Ilkley to name but a few. Thank you for allowing dogs. Great holiday.
