This Grassington cottage features a stylish kitchen with a partial glass roof, which brings a lovely bright and cheery feel to the whole room, whilst a side door provides access from the kitchen to the south-facing patio outside this Grassington cottage. The spacious sitting room with lovely beams and a cosy woodburning stove is a delightful space to relax and unwind, and admire the views through the feature window across the outskirts of Grassington and to the hills beyond. Upstairs, there is a large master bedroom with super king-size bed, a double room and a single, all offering good views across the village and surrounding countryside. A wonderful base, this Grassington cottage is just the place for a family or couples to enjoy this beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This wonderful Grassington cottage is just a two-minute walk from the famous village centre with its old curiosity shops, excellent local pubs, good eating establishments and, of course, the old cobbled square where the annual Dickensian weekends are a real show-stopper. Add to this the annual Grassington Festival and the close proximity of many of the Dales' famous tourist locations and you have a Wharfedale cottage that ticks all the boxes. The area is a walker's paradise, with beautiful walks in the village surrounds, as well as more challenging walks into the nearby hills, while the Dales Way passes right by the front of the house. The Welcome folder was great, telling you everything you needed to know, including restaurants, coffee shops etc. It was very central for walks. The village also had a lot to offer. The property listed was exactly what you get and way above our expectations, a great seven days would book again.

Really enjoyed the log-burner and the bird feeders outside the front window. Car parking was a major bonus as parking is difficult in the village even in November. Also we loved how close to all the village amenities the property was, but that it was in a quiet location with lovely views across the valley. Would love to return.
