Northallerton 1 mile. A beautifully hand-crafted detached log cabin with a hot tub, situated on a working arable farm with horses and llamas, close to the market town of Northallerton. This single-storey lodge has been skilfully constructed to provide a holiday home of real style in a beautiful location. Offering a bright and spacious, warm welcome at any time of the year, there are exposed beams throughout, an open plan living area with a designer kitchen, dining area and sitting area, two delightful bedrooms and shower room. Open the patio doors and step onto a spacious balcony, where you can relax watching the local wildlife, whilst admiring the lovely views across the surrounding farmland.
There is an array of good walks from the doorstep, whilst Northallerton offers two weekly markets, excellent restaurants, tea rooms and shops. Within driving distance are the historic city of York, the spa town of Harrogate and the coastal resorts of Saltburn and Whitby. Also nearby are the Yorkshire Dales and heather-clad North York Moors National Parks, both of which are well worth exploring. A fabulous log cabin in a peaceful location. This place is so peaceful. The lodge is a home from home with everything you need from kitchen to bathrooms. Beds are comfy and the shower in the ensuite is something else! And of course the HOTTUB! It was well used. We were even given a carrier bag full of apples from the tree over the road, (now frozen). We want to thank Cliff, Phil and of course Dexter the puppy for make us feel so welcome and at home. We hope to return. Again, thank you. Vanessa and Terry x
