Walks on the doorstep are the Cleveland Way, Coast to Coast and the start of the Lyke Way walk. Osmotherley is a conservation village, on the western edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It is popular village with walkers and cyclists, with the Cleveland Hills to the east and the Yorkshire Dales to the west. Within the village itself you will find three pubs, a coffee shop, a general shop and a fish and chip shop. The larger market town of Northallerton, Stokesley, Helmsley, Thirsk and Ripon are close by, each well worth a visit.
