The matresses were ok although you could feel the metal and there were not enough pillows, luckily we brought our own from home. There was only four of everything therefore couldn’t really use the dishwasher and meant we were always washing up. There was no knife for cutting fresh bread, no oven gloves or tea towels. The hoover had no suction and there were no cleaning products. However these are all irritants and wouldn’t put us off going back. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend it to others x

Lodge would have been lovely but needs a deep clean. We arrived and had to ring to get someone to come and clean it properly. After that, we still had to clean utensils plates etc.Hot tub was dirty. Apparently it gets cleaned everyday but turned the jets on and big clumps of hair mixed with body fat came out of the jets. It was over chlorinated to the point where you couldn’t stay it in for long as it was stinging eyes. Needs finishing touches to make it a bit more luxurious the amount you pay. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. We had to turn the mattress over and ended up using two duvets as they were so thin. Location is perfect though and the lodge itself would be an amazing holiday home with some tlc

When we got there we were put in Teasdale lodge for some reason. The lodge was beautiful my only issue was the mattress, you could feel every spring which was the only negative in the lodge
