Please do not vape or smoke anything inside the lodge, light any candles or use anything with an open flame, with the sole exception when lighting the log burning stove. There is a £50 cleaning charge for non-compliance.

Please note the electricity will be switched off on Tuesday the 2nd of December 2025 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Northern PowerGrid are replacing the transformer that supplies power within the area

Fabulous cabin in a cosy corner of beautiful Yorkshire. We didnt leave once had some well deserved R and R. The hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. The log fire was awesome we did take our own logs which seemed to burn easier than the ones there, but they had been in the garage for about 5 years so very dry. I could have sat and watched the wildlife eat from the feeders for hours and felt very contended, and I did put some of my own food out for them which was eaten in minutes as all the resident birds and squirrels got wind of it. Would definitely stay here again for the peace and quiet.

Our trip was perfect. The lodge has everything you need for relaxing in the hot tub, a huge choice of movies of you want to chill out on a night, a sauna to wind down and a comfy bed for a great nights sleep. We took the opportunity to go for walks around the area. Some nice walks like the one up to Brimham Rocks or the other way on a circular walk with a half way pint to get you through the second half. It’s worth checking the pub times as they don’t all follow the same opening and closing days or times.I have nothing but good to say about our stay and we can’t wait to go back.
