Guests say

No. 5 The Stables in Pateley Bridge is a well-regarded cottage, praised for its prime location, comfortable furnishings, and overall cleanliness. Guests appreciate the proximity to local amenities and the suitability for walkers and park runners. While some minor maintenance issues and a lack of natural light downstairs were noted, the property's charm, spacious upstairs, and thoughtful touches like high-quality linens and proximity to shops and eateries have led to repeat visits and recommendations.

The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with several guests finding it clean and tidy. However, some guests noted issues with cobwebs, spiders, and mould in the bathroom, suggesting room for improvement in deep cleaning and upkeep.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its convenience, being central to Pateley Bridge with easy access to shops, pubs, and walking trails. The proximity to local amenities and attractions like Brimham Rocks and Fountains Abbey contributes to its high rating.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the upstairs spacious, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, some guests felt the living room was cramped for four people and the lack of natural light downstairs affected the overall comfort.

Facilities are generally good, with mentions of ample towels and a well-equipped kitchen. However, guests reported issues with non-working extractor fans, unsafe furniture, and a lack of some expected amenities like a washing machine, which affects the score.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures such as help with birthday surprises, there is not enough consistent information on whether such gifts are a standard offering. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed and the score is set to null.

5 , thankyou. Just a tip tho, we stayed a week so did some in house cooking. Sharper knives and a few more kitchen items would have been appreciated. But, great stay and perfect location!!

    5. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed to get away from the world for a few days. The local amenities, pub, tea rooms, pancake house and take-away were all pretty close and were all excellent. Would definitely recommend No. 5 and we’re looking forward to our next visit

The price was good and the property in the centre of the village/town with nearby public parking at low cost.
